President and CEO Scott W. Lewis has more than 15 years of experience in public sector information technology. As Group Publisher of Government Computer News and Washington Technology, Lewis worked with systems integrators and technology vendors to help them craft their messages and establish their brands in the government IT market. As a Vice President at INPUT, a public sector market research company, Lewis supported numerous IT firms in the development of their strategic and tactical business plans. Lewis also has served as Vice President of Marketing and Partner Development for Micro Warehouse's Gov/Ed division and, most recently, was Vice President of Sales for ENC Marketing & Communications. Lewis has worked with government IT firms of all types and sizes, helping them create and execute sales and partnering strategies to pursue government business—the fastest growing vertical market in the United States today.
Over the years, Lewis found that many companies did not understand how to establish the partnerships and teaming relationships that are absolutely critical for success in the government market. So he established PS Partnerships in July 2005 to focus directly on helping companies build strategies and partnerships for doing business in the public sector. He works with companies new to the government market and helps established companies increase market share.
